Our telescopes see back in time,
revealing the birth of the vast universe
in a fireball 14 billion years ago.

Every boy, every girl,
every rock, every insect,
every star, every planet,
every speck of dust in the chilly depths of space,
shares in the divinity of creation.

No creature is truly alone.
We are like drops of water over the ocean,
thrown upward and apart by the clashing of waves,
suspended but momentarily above the welcoming sea.

All things are bound together in divinity,
like the dream of a sleeping god,
like the body of a waking god.
Our eyes are the eyes of the god,
our minds are the minds of the god.

Our great spiritual quest is to know Unity.

The illusion of separateness keeps us from salvation.
